Daniel J LLC. is currently seeking experienced professionals for positions on upcoming projects in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Santa Clarita Valley, and the Inland Empire. Independent consultants are preferred.
Senior Project ManagerWe are looking for a Senior Project Manager with 8–10 years of experience managing projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with owners and developers on private and public projects in the following areas:
- Multi-family and mixed-use development
- Hotel/motel development
- High-rise construction
- Commercial and retail projects
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing ROM and detailed estimates
- Developing CPM schedules using Sure Track, Primavera or similar scheduling software
- Planning, organizing, and managing projects to achieve successful performance consistent with contractual agreements
- Maintaining safety, quality, budget, schedule and client satisfaction
- Documenting project progress through quality control inspections, field logs, photographs, records of communication, meeting minutes, etc.
- Aggressively pursuing project completion milestones and cost control
- Managing contract administration, including client and subcontractor invoices
- Ensuring project reports meet client and company standards for quality
- Leading and managing a team of project personnel
Education and registration requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering, B.A. in Architecture, or similar
- Licensed General Contractor
- Certified CMAA Project Manager
This position offers opportunities for advancement to upper-level management.
Assistant Field EngineerThe Assistant Field Engineer will support the Project Management Team and handle daily operational tasks to keep projects running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and organizing the project’s field office and project files
- Assisting the Project Executive and Project Manager with the Document Control System, including a web-based, fully secured, password-protected program based on the Expedition software system
- Maintaining, following up, and coordinating project files, including RFIs, RFPs, COs, submittal logs, directives, and communications
- Coordinating all communications among the project team, owners, architects, sub-consultants, public agencies, contractors, suppliers, and inspectors
- Setting up and following up on meetings and critical inspections
- Distributing meeting minutes and approvals
- Assisting with field inspections and report writing as needed
- Completing any other duties within the scope of the position’s level of expertise and technical knowledge
As the project progresses, this position will expand in responsibilities.
