Mechanical Engineer - LA - Aerospace Scale-up
We're on the hunt for an exceptional Mechanical Engineer to own, lead, and define the development of a cutting‑edge Deep Tech product which has already proven successful in mission‑critical deployments.
Ideal candidates will hold a true passion for seeing complex mechanical challenges through from ideation to deployment.
What You’ll Work On:- End-to-end mechanical design: concept, CAD, simulation, and test
- Full ownership of complex components for spacecraft development
- Rapid prototyping within a Start-Up environment
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams including software, avionics, and manufacturing
- 2+ years of experience in a highly‑regulated industry
- Proficiency with Solid Works or similar CAD tools
- Experience with thermal and structural simulation tools (FEA)
- A proven history of extreme‑ownership
- Experience working directly on spacecraft
