Mechanical Design Engineer

Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Compensation: 115, base + annual bonus Hybrid

Schedule:

2-3 days per week in our Los Angeles HQ

What You Will Do
  • Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings (Solid Works, Creo, NX, Catia, Inventor, AutoCAD)
  • Apply GD&T, run tolerance analysis, and create manufacturing documentation
  • Lead DFM/DFA improvements for cost, quality, and ease of production
  • Select materials and mechanical components (bearings, gears, motors, etc.)
  • Support prototyping, 3D printing, machining, molding, and early builds
  • Manage BOMs, PLM/PDM workflows, and SAP change control
What You Bring
  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
  • 3-7+ years of mechanical design experience
  • Strong CAD skills across major platforms, Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
  • Familiarity with plastics, sheet metal, machining, molding, and manufacturing
  • Experience with prototypes, testing, BOMs, PLM systems, and SAP
  • Understanding of welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electromechanical systems
  • Bonus: PE license, Six Sigma certification, or advanced degree
