What You'll Be Doing- Lead the development of advanced compressor and turbine wheel technologies from concept through validation.
- Own aerodynamic and mechanical design activities, ensuring performance, durability and manufacturability targets are achieved.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Drive product development strategy, technical roadmaps and future technology planning.
- Lead design reviews, qualification activities and root cause investigations.
- Mentor, coach and develop a team of highly skilled engineers.
- Work closely with manufacturing, systems and product teams to deliver next-generation products.
- Engage directly with customers, presenting technical solutions and supporting future product development.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant experience developing turbo machinery, compressors, turbines or rotating aerodynamic components.
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, mechanical design and structural analysis.
- Experience using engineering tools such as CFD, FEA and Matlab.
- Previous technical leadership or engineering management experience.
- Ability to lead complex engineering programmes while mentoring and developing engineers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both internal stakeholders and customers.
