At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you'll do exactly that. You'll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we're transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future.

Because "good enough" builds the past. You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm.

The work:

  • You'll join our talent pipeline for upcoming projects and future opportunities in the Transportation sector.
  • You'll bring your experience, passion, and readiness to make an impact—and we'll keep you in mind as new roles open up.
  • You'll just need to apply and provide your project list to get started.
  • You'll be a representative for the client supervising the structures portion of the project, committed to making certain that the project progresses safely and efficiently.
  • You'll verify via inspection and documentation on the contract relating to roadway & highway structures for general conformance to the Caltrans Standards, Specifications, Construction Manual, the Local Assistance Procedures manual and/or any Caltrans Bridge-related guidelines.
  • You'll use your engineering judgment to evaluate project structures construction in compliance with the plans, specifications, standard plans, and standard specifications with an emphasis on the structures portion of the project work under the supervision of the assigned Project Manager or Resident Engineer or Structure Representative.
  • You'll work directly with and, generally, report directly to the Resident Engineer and/or Structure Representative, providing technical expertise required to properly administer the structural portion of the roadway work.
  • You'll read and interpret project plans, shop drawings, specifications, permits, and other pertinent contract documents such as Falsework or shoring systems.
  • You'll generate and/or review contract change orders and requests for information relating to structure items.
  • You'll review submittals from the contractor relating to structure items and verify documentation on the contract relating to structures is generated and filed in proper order.
  • You'll coordinate and/or perform quality testing of the structure work.
  • You will function and operate in a team environment.
  • Onsite at client site:
The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. This role will be a mix of day and night shifts.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • EIT is required
  • Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in roadway or highway inspection inclusive of bridge structures, retaining walls, sound walls, drainage systems, and all temporary support systems like Bridge Falsework or Shoring Systems
  • Minimum 2 (two) years of the 5 years mentioned above as lead worker in Structure construction and inspection
  • Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in CALTRANS roadway/bridge construction projects and standard construction methodology
  • Minimum 3 (three) years of experience with CALTRANS practices and procedures & Construction Manuals
