Duration:
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform precision SMT soldering and PCB rework on engineering prototypes
- Replace and modify electronic components, including 0201 passive devices
- Perform fine-pitch soldering, trace cuts, jumper wires, and PCB modifications
- Work under a microscope on small electronic components
- Perform lead-free soldering and component-level rework
- Build and modify wire harnesses and cable assemblies
- Support electro-mechanical prototype assembly and hardware troubleshooting
- Read and follow electrical schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and rework instructions
- Use DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, rework stations, heat guns, and preheaters
- Partner with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams on R&D projects
- 5+ years of hands‑on PCB soldering / electronic assembly experience
- Strong SMT rework and fine‑pitch soldering experience
- Ability to rework components down to 0201 package sizes
- Experience performing PCB modifications and component replacement
- Experience with lead‑free solder processes
- Experience in an R&D, prototype, engineering lab, or advanced electronics environment
- Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, BOMs, and PCB rework instructions
- Current IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification – REQUIRED
- Aerospace, defense, communications, or advanced electronics manufacturing experience
- Thermal/environmental/IP testing experience
- Experience with conformal coatings and thermal interface materials
