We're growing our Plumbing Engineering team and are hiring experienced engineers at either the Design Engineer II or Design Engineer III level.
The final title, responsibilities, and compensation will be determined based on your experience, technical expertise, licensure, and overall qualifications.

Design Buildings That Shape CommunitiesAs a Plumbing Design Engineer, you'll design plumbing systems for multifamily residential communities while collaborating with architects, project managers, field teams, and fellow engineers from concept through construction.
While multifamily construction is our primary focus, we also welcome candidates with experience designing plumbing systems for commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, hospitals, higher education, student housing, hospitality, mixed-use developments, or other complex building types.

What You'll Do- Design plumbing systems for multifamily and other complex building projects from schematic design through construction documents.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, and construction documentation.
- Develop and coordinate plumbing system models using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Participate in BIM coordination, project meetings, and design reviews.
- Research plumbing materials, equipment, and system solutions that support project objectives.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and support construction administration activities.
- Apply plumbing codes, engineering standards, and sustainable design principles to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Contribute to improving engineering standards, design quality, and project delivery processes.
Within your first year, you'll:
- Successfully design plumbing systems for multiple multifamily and commercial building projects.
- Become a trusted engineering resource within the Plumbing Engineering team.
- Build strong relationships with architects, project managers, contractors, and fellow engineers.
- Continue expanding your technical expertise while taking on increasing project responsibility.
- Help support the continued growth of AMPAM's Plumbing Engineering team.
