Electro-Mechanical Design Drafter
Join a growing engineering and manufacturing team developing advanced electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical products for aerospace, defense, and other high-reliability industries.
What You'll DoCreate and update engineering and manufacturing drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD.
Develop work instructions, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and other production documentation.
Prepare complete drawing packages, including assemblies, schematics, specifications, and manufacturing documents.
Support engineering and production teams by ensuring documentation is accurate, current, and manufacturing-ready.
Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues.
Maintain revision control and ensure compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and documentation quality.
What We're Looking For5+ years of drafting experience in electro-mechanical, mechanical, or electronic products.
Strong Solid Works experience creating detailed models, assemblies, and production drawings.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical schematics.
Experience creating BOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, and configuration/revision control processes.
Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium.
Technical training or education in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
Ability to travel occasionally.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
