Maesa is hiring a Design Engineer Co-Op in Los Angeles, a student placement inside the engineering side of a beauty and fragrance incubator. Co-ops here touch real products headed for national shelves: bottles, closures, applicators, and the tooling behind them, the physical half of fragrance our field-to-flacon guide shows from the liquid side.
About the RoleThe Co-Op supports design engineering on live projects: CAD work on components and fixtures, prototype coordination and testing, supplier drawing reviews, tolerance and fit studies, and documentation that carries designs into manufacturing. Mentorship comes from working engineers shipping products on real deadlines, not classroom exercises.
Who Should ApplyEngineering students, mechanical, industrial, or product design tracks, with CAD skills (Solid Works or similar), curiosity about consumer packaging, and eligibility for a co-op or internship term. The placement is Los Angeles based.
