This is an exciting, challenging and specialized role for a talented, energized and innovative individual who wants to pursue growth in Integrated Logistics and Product Support Engineering. This position is contingent on program award.
The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of automation.
Responsibilities include:
- Support logistics engineering activities and assist as a technical resource from a program's concept and proposal phases through development, test, production, and post-production support phases.
- Support logistics design influence efforts and activities necessary to meet system performance requirements.
- Analyze and interpret technical data (e.g., drawings, manuals, specifications, etc.) to develop technical and logistics data
- Create/update relevant reports such as task analysis, maintenance plans, or provisioning requirements reports.
- Perform/develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Develop maintenance concepts to ensure the most affordable and effective mission readiness solution.
- Support activities that sustain the operation and maintenance of systems to ensure mission readiness.
- Be an engaged and versatile team member of the Integrated Logistics Support team seeking to continuously improve upon existing practices.
- Utilize engineering background and analytical skills and knowledge of a wide array of industry tools used to conduct Logistics analysis and provide status to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) on a regular basis.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or life cycle support environments;
Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience in logistics or life cycle support environments;
PhD. plus 1 year of relevant experience in logistics or life cycle support environments - Experience in developing/generating various types of logistics supportability analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-PRF-49506
- Demonstrated knowledge of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Life Cycle Cost Analysis modeling.
- PC mastery with Microsoft Windows Office Products, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Demonstrated excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation skills and ability to interface directly with internal program office and external customer.
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance is required.
- Ability to work full-time onsite at the Woodland Hills, CA facility
Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $ Secondary Level Salary Range: $ - $ The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
