Entry-Level Land Surveyor - Contract Position in Los Angeles.

A reputable land surveying company in Los Angeles is seeking an entry-level land surveyor for a contract position. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to gain experience in the field of land surveying. As this is an urgent position, candidates who are available to start immediately will be given preference.

• Assist senior land surveyors in conducting surveys and collecting data using various equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels
• Help with the preparation of survey plans and reports
• Conduct research and gather information on properties, boundaries, and other relevant data
• Perform basic calculations and analysis of data collected during surveys
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Complete administrative tasks related to surveys, such as filing and organizing documents

• Must be fluent in English with excellent communication skills
• Indian nationality preferred but not required
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with surveying software such as AutoCAD or GIS is a plus

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Location:

The position is based in Los Angeles, but some travel within the city may be required.
