Building Operating Engineer
The City of Los Angeles is seeking candidates for the position of Building Operating Engineer. The annual salary range is $118,347 to $124,862. This position is located in the CITY OF LOS ANGELES, CA and is full-time.
Duties include operating, monitoring, and performing maintenance on various building service equipment, including boilers, chillers, and air conditioning units. Candidates must also respond to building tenant service requests and monitor fire life and safety alarm systems.
Requirements include a valid unlimited Steam Engineer's license issued by the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Los Angeles, a valid universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certificate, a turbine endorsement, and a valid Class C driver's license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
