BS Biomedical /MS preferred

Biomedical Engineer will work as part of the In-Vitro Test team to help design a new Test System set up as a replacement for a legacy unit objective is to increase the test capacity of the new systems compared to the legacy system. Will integrate new test methods into the new procedure and help qualify the new test system by running Test Method Validations.

BS Biomedical or Mechanical 10+ YEARS

Familiarity with CAD drawing, Familiarity with test methods and test system development. Experience in test method validation (Gage R&R, other MSA)

Advanced skills in Solid Works, Statistical Software (JMP, Minitab)

Justification for Need:

Unity commercial readiness and Tempe separation require production space for solutions preparation. This new space will be based in the W1011 lab in Northridge where the current R&D invitro BTS testing system is installed. As a result of this shift, this test system is heavily used for new design development testing as well as troubleshooting and will need to be recreated at a different location while also increasing capacity as well as add additional features such as new testing methods.
