Pipeline Designer

Superb Tech is seeking experienced Pipeline & Transmission Designers at the Intermediate through Senior level to support complex utility and infrastructure projects.

We are looking for technically strong designers with hands-on AutoCAD Plant 3D and Civil 3D experience and a demonstrated background in pipeline and transmission design. Candidates should be comfortable developing design deliverables, coordinating across engineering disciplines, and supporting projects from design through construction.

• Develop and maintain AutoCAD Plant 3D models and production drawings
• Develop pipeline routing, layouts, and construction drawings
• Produce and revise design deliverables based on engineering requirements and project changes
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Electrical, I&C, and other engineering disciplines
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and consistency
• Support design packages throughout IFR, IFC, construction, and as-built phases
• Resolve design conflicts and coordinate technical issues with project stakeholders
• Manage multiple assignments and competing project priorities
• Maintain organized and accurate project documentation

• 3-25 years of relevant pipeline/transmission design experience
• Hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D, required
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, required
• Demonstrated experience with pipeline and/or transmission projects
• Experience developing technical drawings and design packages
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and design best practices
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills

Candidates should be able to independently develop Plant 3D models and production drawings with minimal supervision, understand pipeline routing and construction drawing development, and effectively coordinate assigned design deliverables.

Senior candidates should bring extensive pipeline and transmission design experience, advanced Plant 3D and Civil 3D capabilities, and the ability to:

• Lead complex design packages and drawing production
• Perform design reviews and QA/QC
• Mentor junior and intermediate designers
• Coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines
• Identify project risks and resolve design conflicts
• Support IFR, IFC, construction, and as-built deliverables
• Plan and oversee multiple concurrent projects

The strongest candidates will combine hands-on technical design ability with real pipeline/transmission project experience. General AutoCAD experience alone is not sufficient. Candidates must have relevant Plant 3D, Civil 3D, and pipeline/transmission design experience.
