Senior Event Manager

Reporting - Vice president JOB OVERVIEW:

Looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager to lead technical production of live events from concept to completion. The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring all technical elements — including audio, video, lighting, staging, and rigging — are delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and production crews to bring world‑class live experiences to life.

Provides full-service technical production services for live events in experiential, corporate, sports/eSports, awards shows, festivals, and more. The majority of our projects are based on the West Coast and concentrated within Southern California.

• Oversee all phases of live event technical production — from pre‑production planning through onsite execution and post‑event wrap.
• Develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and technical details of different types of events.
• Coordinate AV, lighting, scenic, staging, rigging, and power with internal teams and third‑party vendors.
• Serve as primary point of contact for technical crews, clients, and venue personnel during planning and onsite operations.
• Lead production meetings and site visits; provide technical guidance during creative planning.
• Manage freelance and in‑house technical teams.

• 7+ years of experience in technical production management.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale events with complex technical requirements.
• Deep understanding of AV, lighting, staging, and rigging systems.
• Proficient in production planning tools such as Vectorworks, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Background in live entertainment, broadcast, experiential marketing, or corporate events.
