L.A. LIVE's Peacock Theater hosts more than 120 music, family, dance and comedy acts, award shows, televised productions, conventions, and product launches with more than 500,000 guests passing through the doors annually. Located across the street from  Arena, the 7,100-seat theater opened in October 2007 with six sold out shows featuring the Eagles and The Chicks. Peacock Theater has since hosted concerts by artists like Alan Jackson, Charlie Wilson, Juan Gabriel, Aretha Franklin, Ed Sheeran, John Fogerty, Gabriel Iglesias, Marc Anthony, John Legend, Neil Young, Kelly Clarkson, Rush, Yanni, Nicki Minaj, Juanes, as well as The "American Idol" Finale shows, Michael Jackson's This is It, Straight Outta Compton, The Hunger Games and Twilight movie premieres and more.

Peacock Theater is also home to the Primetime Emmy Awards and BET Awards, and has previously hosted the American Music Awards, ESPYs, Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards, People's Choice Awards, Radio Disney Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, MTV Movie Awards and a pair of Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies. Job Summary: The Security Supervisor position represents Peacock Theater and/or  Arena in an exemplary manner.

Reporting to the Security Management Team, the Security Supervisor will supervise Security Officers at Peacock Theater and/or  Arena. This is a part-time, non-union, hourly position. Essential Functions:

• Event Security
  • Uphold the Security Department's Prime Directives, most importantly our mission to take reasonable steps to protect the safety and security of our venues' guests, team members, and assets with respect towards everyone's dignity and legal rights.
  • Resolve escalated security situations, providing appropriate warnings and complete ejections/arrests if warranted/necessary.
  • Ensure enforcement and compliance of the venue's Event Policies at all times.
  • Efficiently manage all incidents encountered during an event.
  • Assist with directional and informational inquiries. Serve as escalation point for complaints/issues.
  • Appropriately document all major/minor incidents.
  • Represent Peacock Theater and/or  Arena and the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems in order to successfully perform and direct varied and complex tasks.
  • Perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure.
• Staff Supervision
  • Deploy staff for events. Assign appropriate shifts, breaks, and necessary equipment.
  • Train staff in basic guest service and security skills. Actively monitor staff interactions with Peacock Theater and/or  Arena venue guests, clients, artists/athletes, and team members at all events to ensure a safe, secure, comfortable entertainment experience for all.
