Associate Bilingual Specialist

SUMMARY:

A leading entertainment company is seeking a passionate Associate Bilingual Specialist for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will help review and elevate exciting intellectual property, supporting epic projects to ensure games are released with the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Master and apply first-party requirements
• Review and organize English recording scripts
• Assist in preparing localized assets, including glossaries and translation memories
• Provide ad-hoc translations and actionable feedback on localized products
• Audit localization quality and offer constructive feedback
• Support voice recording session preparation and execution

QUALIFICATIONS:

• N1 or equivalent level of Japanese proficiency
• Fluency in both Japanese and English, with strong conversational skills
• Experience in auditing localization quality and providing feedback
• Background in localization, preferably in the video game industry
• Familiarity with industry tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and XLOC (preferred)
