Talent Buyer / Artist Booker — Punk, Hardcore & Alternative
Forever Wildland Fest is seeking an experienced Talent Buyer / Artist Booker to join our team as we continue building our 2026 festival dates and future expansion.
We’re an independent music festival built around the idea of Music First, Purpose Always
, with a portion of ticket sales supporting Grassroots Wildland Firefighters.
We have a short runway for 2026 and are looking for someone who can jump in immediately. Our initial focus is booking two markets:
Los Angeles and San Francisco
, with the opportunity to continue working with us as Forever Wildland expands into additional cities.
- Professional experience in talent buying, artist booking, agency, venue, promoter, or festival environments
- Strong background and existing relationships within punk, hardcore, alternative, indie, and adjacent music scenes
- Comfortable communicating and negotiating directly with agents and management
- Ability to source artists that fit both the festival's identity and budget
- Strong understanding of artist offers, guarantees, contracts, routing and deal structures
- Able to work quickly and independently
- Los Angeles/West Coast relationships are strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable working within firm budgets and booking deadlines
- Identifying and pitching viable artists for Los Angeles
- Assisting with remaining San Francisco booking needs
- Contacting agents and management
- Negotiating artist guarantees within approved budgets
- Maintaining clear communication on outstanding offers and deadlines
- Helping develop our talent strategy as we expand into additional markets
Commission-based.
10% of artist guarantees for talent successfully booked by you. Potential for an expanded role with Forever Wildland in 2027 based on performance.
This is not an entry-level position. Because of our current timeline, we're specifically looking for someone who already understands these genres, has industry relationships, and can begin working immediately.
