Executive Assistant, Studio Business & Legal Affairs

Global independent studio wiip Productions seeks an Executive Assistant for its Business & Legal Affairs department.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Proactively organizing and assisting two to three executives, including the Department Head, with phones, scheduling, filing, follow-ups, liaising with other wiip departments and third parties such as network executives, talent and their representatives
• Drafting and editing business correspondence, meeting summaries, offer termsheets, short form deal memos and certificates
• Market research
• Maintaining deal status reports and assisting with related company projects as needed

This position requires the handling of confidential and proprietary information with strict discretion and excellent judgment.

Candidates must have:

• A strong interest in the business side of entertainment, especially tv and film
• Possess strong communication (written and oral), organizational skills, and work ethic
• Display the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, superior attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task within tight time constraints
• Bachelor's degree, 2 years' experience in a professional environment
• Ability to work in Los Angeles required
• Entertainment experience and/or legal degree a plus

The salary range for this position is $50-55K; full benefits and overtime-eligible.

Brad Ingelsby's "Task" season two, starring Mark Ruffalo and Mahershala Ali for HBO; "Boys of Tommen," commissioned by Prime Video and produced in association with Amazon MGM Studios, and "The Corrections," starring Meryl Streep for Netflix. Based on Jonathan Franzen's iconic bestselling book of the same title, "The Corrections" will be directed by Cord Jefferson. Expanding into features, wiip produced the inspiring coming-of-age musical documentary, "Just Sing," which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival, in partnership with Ventureland's John Battsek and Sarah Thomson.

wiip is also partnering with Amazon MGM Studios to co-produce the film continuation of "The Summer I Turned Pretty."
