Job Description:
- Oversees the activities of the Property and Corporate Accounting departments for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial information.
- Oversee the activities of Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and information reporting.
- Maintain general ledger and payment processing systems and controls to verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
- Assist with asset management including sales and refinances, property insurance, cash flow, property condition and rehab projects.
- Assist with property insurance, tax & audit reporting and CPA firm management.
- Assist with other high-profile projects including complex financial modeling, development project funding and owner communication.
- Maintain controls and efficient processing of cash/treasury management transactions.
- Responsible for bank reporting compliance.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis on in accounting and finance
- CPA Required
- Yardi or Realpage experience a plus
- 8+ years of related work experience
- 4+ years of supervisory experience required
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and systems knowledge
