We are seeking a results-driven Senior Accountant to join our client's Finance team. As a key member of the organization, you will oversee financial reporting and budgeting processes for our national programs. Your responsibilities will include managing the Financial Edge Administrator, ensuring compliance with policies, and overseeing local/state reimbursement processes. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Expected starting base salary $95,000 to $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and provide regular banking reports to leadership and chapters.
Update revenue reports for chapters.
Review net asset reports.
Maintain the General Ledger, adhering to GAAP.
Support Finance team members throughout the year.
Oversee the budget process for the organizational budget.
Document relevant accounting processes for timely annual audit submission.
Provide schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation during audit reviews.

Requirements:

Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with Financial Edge and Raiser's Edge (3-5 years preferred).
Pride in accuracy and organizational excellence.

Experience:

5+ years of consecutive nonprofit accounting experience.
Bachelor's in business, accounting, or a related field
A-133 Single audit experience required.
Proven experience in financial management.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practical application in the nonprofit sector.
