Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation of periodic financial statements, ensuring they comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Manage direct reports: AR, AP, and bookkeepers.
- Direct internal financial audits and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Manage the accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's Degree in required .
- 7+ years experience in a controller role or similar leadership role in finance.
- Proficient in accounting software and systems, digitally proficient (tech Savvy) is required.
- Experience reporting with a combination of accounting and finance.
- Experience with b eyond traditional accounting, focus on forecasting, budgeting, metrics, and case analyses.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
