Position Title: Fiscal Assistant II (Revenue)
Title of Immediate Supervisor: Fiscal Services Manager
Salary Range: $44,068 - $65,108
Summary Of PositionPerforms a variety of specialized clerical and fiscal work involving the examination, reconciliation and recording of fiscal and financial records. This position maintains the individual’s trust accounts. Provides support to Service Coordinators and responds to vendors and staff inquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and Maintain Individual’s Trust Accounts Funds:
Reviews source of funds monthly to ensure the funds are coded correctly. Review trust accounts monthly to ensure account balances are not over $2,000 threshold. - Manage Reports and Annual Redetermination:
Submit Rep Payee reports to Social Security when transferring from a 3rd party or new individual to SCLARC. Submit Social Security paperwork and Medi-Cal New Applications and Redeterminations in a timely manner. - Handles Emergency Funding Requests.
- Responds to Providers and Service Coordinators inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Serves as liaison between staff and consumer funding sources.
- Files all documents in a timely, accurate manner.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 4 years related Accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Accounting, Social Security, and/or Medi-Cal.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
