Tax Manager

Elevate Recruiting is partnering with a prestigious financial services firm in identifying a Tax Manager to join their growing team.

This tax professional will manage tax compliance, planning, and advisory services across a diverse client base. This role is responsible for overseeing the tax process, ensuring accurate filings, supporting audits, and providing guidance on complex tax matters. The ideal candidate combines strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to manage client relationships and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage tax compliance and oversee filings for multiple entity types, including corporations, partnerships, and individuals
• Prepare and review tax returns and supporting schedules
• Coordinate payroll tax reporting and related compliance activities
• Support and manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from federal and state agencies
• Research federal and state tax issues and apply findings to client situations
• Maintain filing calendars and ensure deadlines are met
• Provide tax planning, projections, and advisory services
• Review financial information and post adjusting journal entries as needed
• Analyze financial statements to support tax reporting
• Build and maintain professional client relationships
• Monitor regulatory updates and implement changes as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• Several years of experience in public accounting or tax-focused roles
• Experience working with multiple entity structures
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  
  Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
