Job Responsibilities:
- Review financial records to confirm accuracy and completeness before posting
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries to ensure consistency across systems
- Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with internal audit documentation
- Maintain clear and organized records for donations, expenses, and other financial activity
- Process invoices, receipts, and payroll entries while ensuring timely and accurate data entry
- 1-3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, including internships or entry-level roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with budgeting principles and a practical approach to cost management
- An Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of basic accounting procedures and internal controls
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with finance and program teams
- A proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy and financial responsibility
