Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare journal entries, complete reconciliations, and correct errors to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Review balance sheet activity each month and provide clear explanations for changes across reporting periods.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures and assist with process improvements.
  • Partner with operations, payables, and other teams to ensure proper coding and timely financial statements.
  • Support audits, compliance testing, and special projects while maintaining complete and organized documentation.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions, with comfort analyzing large data sets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work with limited daily direction.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions and respond quickly to information requests.
  • Self starter with strong organization skills and a consistent focus on process improvement and automation.
  • Professional presence with sound judgment, integrity, and a service minded approach.
