Senior Tax Consultant

Our client is seeking a high-caliber, self-sufficient Interim Senior Tax Consultant (hybrid
- Downtown Los Angeles) to serve as the internal lead during a critical phase of US tax compliance and provision. This is a high-impact, hands‑on role with a a rapidly growing, innovative Technology Infrastructure Firm.

• Lead the preparation and review of federal and state tax provisions, specifically for a complex partnership structure

• Oversee the US tax compliance cycle, ensuring all filings are accurate and deadlines are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact and manager for the external, outsourced tax firm.
• Manage specialized tax functions, including 1099 reporting, sales tax nexus/filings, and transfer pricing documentation.
• Utilize a working knowledge of international tax to identify risks and advise leadership.
• Diagnose and implement immediate operational improvements across the current tax lifecycle.

• 10+ years of progressive tax experience, with a heavy emphasis on partnership taxation

• Deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, state/federal compliance, and the nuances of sales tax in a technology‑driven infrastructure model.
• Proven track record of successfully managing third‑party vendors or outsourced accounting teams.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to operate with complete independence.
