Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a SEC Consultant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $75.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of regulatory reports for banking entities, including quarterly and weekly filings.
- Gather and consolidate financial data from various departments to support SEC and banking regulatory disclosures.
- Oversee the production of 10-K and 10-Q filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Maintain reporting calendars and ensure timely delivery of required documentation to regulatory bodies.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams to streamline the reporting process and resolve data discrepancies.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial reporting or regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with SEC filing requirements and banking regulatory reports such as FRY9C, FRY9LP, and Call Reports.
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems; experience with Workiva or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, compliant reports.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and reporting cycles.
- Excellent communication skills for working across departments and with external regulators.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Capable of adapting to evolving reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
