Payroll Specialist; MT

• Processes payroll for multiple employee groups, including timecards, retro pay, lump‑sum payments, deductions, adjustments, and specialized compensation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Manages pay changes and communicates updates to employees and managers; responds to and resolves payroll inquiries internally and from external entities (e.g., VOEs).

• Prepares and distributes termination and adjustment checks, maintains payroll data within payroll systems, and runs reports across tools such as ADP, MMC, and Tableau.

• Compiles earnings, tax, deduction, and leave summaries; reconciles billing data for supplemental payments; and supports internal audit and reporting needs.

• Qualifications include: strong knowledge of payroll regulations; proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP) and reporting tools; excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; high accuracy and attention to detail; and strong analytical skills for reviewing payroll activity and ensuring data integrity.
