Our client is a private equity firm. They seek a Fund Accountant to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule, comprehensive compensation, and competitive benefits.
Responsibilities- Work with the fund administrator regarding multiple functions
- Review fund financials and partner capital statements for all funds
- Contribute to the coordination of quarterly reviews and audits
- Coordinate and review valuation models of the Private Equity portfolio
- Manage the funds’ credit facilities and open/close bank accounts
- Process wires and related journal entries, as well as bank reconciliations
- Monitor the accounting mailbox and respond daily to investor requests
- Aid in the preparation of LP presentations and quarterly investor letters
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned
- 1+ years of fund accounting experience
- Hedge fund/private equity industry experience
- Public (Big
4) or combo accounting background - Motivated, mature, and hardworking
- Organized with a keen attention to detail
