Senior Accountant

A leading investment firm on headquartered in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance and accounting team. This role offers strong exposure across both the investment funds and the management company, working closely with senior finance leadership and external service providers.

The position is well suited for someone looking to deepen their experience within the investment management space while gaining broad visibility into financial reporting, fund operations, and internal processes.

• Support the monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
• Work with third-party service providers involved in fund accounting and reporting
• Assist with reviewing financial calculations, allocations, and fund-related expenses
• Perform account reconciliations and support cash activity monitoring
• Participate in the annual audit process
• Help prepare internal reporting and performance analysis
• Support valuation and reporting related to investments
• Assist with tax-related reporting and documentation
• Contribute to management company accounting and internal reporting
• Partner with the finance team on process improvements and special projects

• Minimum 2+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience working with private funds and/or at an investment firm strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
