This is a high‑impact opportunity for a hands‑on AR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and is comfortable improving processes as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Operations
  • Own end‑to‑end AR processes, including invoicing, credit memos, cash application, and customer account maintenance across multiple sales channels.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer balances through timely reconciliations of AR sub‑ledger to the general ledger.
  • Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities related to AR, revenue, and reserves.
Collections & Credit Management
  • Lead collections efforts for past‑due accounts, including customer outreach, dispute resolution, and negotiation of payment plans.
  • Review and evaluate customer credit applications; establish and maintain credit limits and ongoing risk assessments.
  • Monitor and manage AR aging, identify risk trends, and proactively recommend actions to minimize exposure and improve cash flow.
Accounting, Compliance & Controls
  • Calculate and monitor bad debt reserves and AR allowances in accordance with GAAP.
  • Support revenue recognition processes and compliance with ASC 606 in partnership with Accounting and FP&A.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Support sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including coordination with third‑party tax providers.
Cross‑Functional Partnership & Process Improvement
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Support, Legal, and Operations to resolve complex billing, credit, and payment issues.
  • Perform reconciliations related to customer programs, rebates, revenue‑sharing arrangements, and promotional credits.
  • Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, systems, reporting, and internal controls as the business scales.
  • Support ERP enhancements, system clean‑up, and automation initiatives related to billing and cash application.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections
  • Experience supporting a high‑volume, multi‑channel, or fast‑growth environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, including revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills (reconciliations, analysis, reporting)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership mentality, and sound problem‑solving skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
