Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable, including maintaining the A/R aging report and reviewing status weekly.
  • Minimize aged receivables by actively reaching out to customers for payment and resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform full-cycle A/R activities, including chargeback validation and reconciliation of invoice details.
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring accurate recording of all transactions and reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Have 5-7+ years of experience in an accounting role within retail, product, or fashion industries.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in financial management tools, including ERP systems such as Net Suite.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
  • Exhibit advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Maintain strong organizational and time-management skills while managing multiple priorities.
  • Adapt to changing business environments and evolving accounting regulations.
