Job ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-funding, post-funding and mortgage compliance reviews.
Provide assistance in the preparation of reports and detailing findings from prefunding and post-funding reviews.
Work with the Mortgage Operations Team to develop, recommend and monitor corrective action and preventative actions.
Keep abreast of investor and regulatory changes and ensure awareness by production operations.
Conduct QC checks on the closed loans in accordance with Board guidance.
Review HMDA data on both originated loans and non-originated loans for accuracy and submit the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reports.
Review Reg. B logs and conversation logs and perform TRID/RESPA review on all loans for accuracy of information.
Work with the Risk Management Team and the Mortgage Operations Team on mortgage due diligence fundings.
Perform all job duties in compliance with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.
Any other duties and projects as assigned.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of mortgage experience or equivalent experience.
Exposure to all aspects of origination.
Servicing secondary marketing and mortgage compliance areas preferred.
Skills and AbilitiesFamiliarity with internal audit policy and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and work respectfully and cooperatively with others.
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office programs and various mortgage industry related software programs.
Demonstrated analytical skills.
Must be able to function independently and still successfully work in a team environment.
Well organized, efficient, and a self-starter with ability to work under deadlines.
Salary$ 58,000/yr – $ 70,000/yr
