Client Relationship Consultant – Banker, levels

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers by engaging face to face
• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
• Originate and close consumer loans
• Open accounts and manage branch operations
• Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
• Recommend financial solutions based on customer goals and needs

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Typically has four to five years of job‑related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
• Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred
