The Financial Advisor is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to directional strategy by applying them in their own work and the broader business. They act as a recognized technical authority in their area, require basic commercial awareness, and bring strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince colleagues and external customers.

Their work has significant impact on the area and ultimately affects overall performance and effectiveness of the sub‑function and job family.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a wide variety of financial and investment services to an ultra high net worth client base in the United States.
  • Manage accounts of high net worth investors and jointly develop financial strategies with Private Bankers.
  • Conduct sophisticated economic and financial market analyses.
  • Analyze economic trends and advise on the effects on investors’ portfolios.
  • Recommend changes to investors’ holdings after evaluating economic, financial, and market factors and their potential impact on portfolios.
  • Adhere to a prospecting code of conduct that permits acquiring new private client accounts only by referral or personal contact and prohibits seminars, mail campaigns, cold calling and other solicitation methods.
  • Develop relationships and generate ideas with Bankers and clients to grow the asset base.
  • Appropriately assess risk, protect the firm’s reputation, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, policies, and ethical standards while escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
  • 6–10 years of experience.
  • NYSE Series 7 and 66 licenses and additional licensing as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg is a definite asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with co‑workers and clients.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong financial background.
Education
  • Bachelor’s/University degree;
    Master’s degree preferred.
Salary

$70,000.00 – $ per year.
