Loan Officer Trainee (Downtown, Los Angeles) Responsibilities- Comply with the Bank's established loan policies.
- Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits.
- Communicate with clients to respond to requests or provide information.
- Detail-oriented and be able to multi-task while meeting important deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
- No prior banking experience required.
- Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.
- Solid understanding of lending products and practices.
- Full-time position.
Base hourly range: $25 - $28
Mortgage Loan Closing/Servicing Assistant (Los Angeles) Responsibilities- Assist closing officer for loan document preparation, review loan document, document upload and loan funding.
- Perform daily loan servicing duties including, but not limited to, daily report review, data entry, payment processing, loan account maintenance, loan payoffs, daily GL reconciliations.
- Track documents including insurance, collateral documents, and title policies.
- Provide customer service to borrowers and branch personnel with loan-related inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2+ years in mortgage loan drawing, funding, post-closing, or related experience required.
- Prepare mortgage loan documents and closing disclosures.
- Review closing packages for completeness and accuracy and assign funding conditions.
- Review and confirm all funding conditions are satisfied prior to funding.
- Act as a liaison between escrow agents, title companies, branches, brokers, and settlement teams.
- Respond promptly to closing-related questions from internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge with state and federal regulations and responsibility for compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree, prefer business major with accounting and finance emphasis with good working knowledge of accounting, business law and commercial loan legal documentation.
- Two or more years banking/financial services experience preferred.
- SBA or commercial lending experience preferred.
- Oral/written communication and interpersonal skills necessary in order to negotiate with and persuade commercial borrowers and/or legal counsel and to interact with Bank management.
- Proficient PC skills, including spreadsheet applications.
- Bilingual in Korean.
Base hourly range: $23 - $36.06
SBA Loan/Operation Assistant (Los Angeles) Responsibilities- Support the lending team by managing the administrative, processing, and servicing tasks for SBA loans.
- Manage borrower compliance with loan agreements, tracking financial reporting requirements.
