We are seeking a detail-oriented FX Operations professional to support the daily execution of foreign exchange post-trade activities while contributing to operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives. The role focuses on accurate processing, risk control, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth settlement and reconciliation of FX transactions.

The successful candidate will develop strong technical knowledge of FX workflows and actively support automation and system enhancements to improve operational performance.

  • Maintain and monitor all operational areas within FX and assist with multiple annual audits/reviews.
  • Handle internal day to day transactions, weekly/monthly/quarterly certifications, service-related matters, etc.
  • Handle trade processing and settlement. Process FX spot, forward, swap, and NDF trades in a timely and accurate manner, including SWIFT messages, investigations, error resolution, etc.
  • Ensure correct booking inthe internal systems. Escalate issues and provide timely updates to relevant teams.
  • Perform daily reconciliations between front-office systems and back-office records. Investigate and resolve breaks/discrepancies with counter parties or internal teams.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, including but not limited to performing daily tasks, answering questions regarding FX operations, generating reports & analytics, playing an essential role in maintenance & support of ongoing FX initiatives.
  • Comply fully with all Bank Operational policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.)
  • Support initiative in automation and system enhancement
  • Perform other tasks/projects, as assigned
Key Responsibilities
  • FX Operations
    • Manage the end-to-end FX transaction lifecycle including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management
    • Perform operational processing across spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, and related products
    • Ensure timely and accurate settlement while minimizing operational risk
    • Act as escalation point for complex trade or settlement issues
  • Automation & System Optimization
    • Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and reduce operational touchpoints
    • Partner with technology teams to design, test, and implement automation initiatives
    • Drive continuous improvement of operational platforms and reconciliation processes
    • Support system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives
    • Develop operational reporting and performance metrics
  • Risk, Controls & Compliance
    • Maintain strong operational controls aligned with regulatory and audit requirements
    • Support audits and regulatory reporting activities
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Liaise with trading desks, treasury, IT, compliance, and counter parties
    • Provide operational expertise for system changes and product initiatives
  • Process Improvement & Governance
    • Lead root cause analysis on recurring issues
    • Develop SOPs and operational documentation
    • Promote continuous improvement culture
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • 3+yearsFX operations experience within banking or financial markets
  • Strong understanding of FX products and settlement workflows
  • Demonstrated experience in automation or process improvement
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and reconciliation processes
  • Familiarity with treasury or trading platforms
  • Fluency in Korean a plus
  • Analytical problem solving

  • Project/change management capability

The salary range for this full-time position is $31.25 - $36.06 hourly + bonus + benefits

Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location.

Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
