Credit Union Banker / Member Service Representative - EXP REQ!

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A BANK OR CREDIT UNION PERFORMING TELLER TRANSACTIONS TO APPLY!

We are currently seeking an experienced Banker /
Member Service Representative for a credit union located in Los Angeles, CA.

Type: Full-time, Temporary with possible Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $21/hr

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist members with opening and closing accounts, answer questions about products and services and make referrals.
• Deliver outstanding client service (in-person/over-the-phone) by executing financial transactions in accordance with credit union policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable record in daily drawer balancing.
• Resolve account service issues and respond to client inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Drive efforts in the branch to identify and implement a positive overall client experience.
• Deepen client relationships by effectively executing all services and referring bank products while achieving goals through daily sales activities and branch sales promotions.
• Assisting with special operation projects as needed.

Requirements:

• 1 year of teller experience within a credit union or bank required!
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate communication and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
