Chief Financial Officer
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $300,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Lead the overall financial strategy and provide guidance to executive leadership on business growth, profitability, and long term planning initiatives.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance activities.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support business decisions, revenue planning, and operational performance.
- Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and other financial partnerships while monitoring organizational liquidity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams while implementing processes, controls, and systems that support continued growth.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior level finance or accounting responsibilities.
- Prior leadership experience within a law firm environment, preferably supporting plaintiff side or personal injury practices.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
- Previous experience working with contingency based revenue models, trust accounting, and legal industry financial operations.
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial credential preferred.
- Familiarity with litigation funding, case cost financing arrangements, and related financial structures.
- Prior experience scaling finance operations, building processes, and supporting business expansion initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills with the ability to advise partners and executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency with accounting, legal practice management, and financial reporting systems, including platforms commonly used within law firms.
