The RoleOur Business Management team in Encino is hiring a Supervisor to join our dynamic group of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate has a keen interest in the entertainment industry and is eager to develop their accounting acumen. The selected candidate is a confident and professional communicator, with exceptional time management and organizational skills. The candidate has strong interpersonal skills and is committed to building and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
WhatYou Will Do
- Supervise, mentor, and coach Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives.
- Provide robust and various bookkeeping services, including the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Book and process client payroll on a recurring basis.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and trial balances.
- Onboard new clients and set up new vendors and general ledger codes in the accounting system (Agil Link, Datafaction, or other).
- Record opening trial balances and journal entries. Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Record purchases or refinancing of client's automobiles and/or residences.
- Maintain cash flow and reporting requests for clients.
- Provide backup coverage for other Account Executives as needed.
- Process accounts payable and cash receipts functions when the Account Executive is out.
- Coordinate and complete client loan applications and collaborate with client’s team for final review.
- Provide accurate asset schedules for insurance.
- Work closely with the tax department to ensure clean and accurate books.
- Ensure all tax deadlines (1099s, estimated payments) are met accurately and on time.
- Create commission reconciliation schedules for non-touring clients.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- A High School diploma.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 4 years (or more) of experience in accounting, business management, and/or work with high-net-worth individuals.
- 1 year (or more) of experience working in Agil Link, Datafaction, and/or Quick Books.
- The role requires standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
- The position involves frequent use of hands as well as reaching with hands and arms.
- The employee will regularly be required to talk, hear, see, and sit.
- The work environment may involve a moderate to loud noise level.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $135,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
