Job Description & How to Apply Below
Eleven Recruiting is searching for a Pricing Manager to lead the pricing function for a well-established, global aerospace and defense OEM in the greater Los Angeles area. This company provides complex engineered parts and repair/MRO services for established aircraft platforms across commercial, OEM, and government channels, supporting a broad, high-mix portfolio through a long-term investment and licensing model with major aviation OEMs.
This role is critical in driving revenue, margin performance, and commercial decision-making across that portfolio, and requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Own pricing strategy and execution across assigned product lines and customer segments — applying cost-plus, value-based, and market-driven approaches to translate strategy directly into revenue and margin improvement.
- Assess customer willingness to pay and product/customer value, using those insights — not just cost-plus math — to optimize pricing decisions.
- Evaluate and approve pricing recommendations, analyzing cost structures, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer segmentation/price elasticity to ensure alignment with margin and revenue targets.
- Partner closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance on RFQs, proposals, long-term agreements, and strategic business cases (e.g., inventory investments, price lists, bundling strategies).
- Align pricing decisions with supply chain cost estimating and data analytics functions to keep pricing grounded in accurate cost inputs and market intelligence across the revenue lifecycle.
- Lead, coach, and develop a pricing team, building clear processes and accountability for consistent pricing practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes, tools, and data quality, and ensure pricing governance and compliance with internal guidelines.
Required
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong pricing experience required (aerospace or industrial preferred).
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with complex, imperfect, or nuanced data sets.
- Solid understanding of pricing strategies (cost-plus, value-based, market-driven).
- Ability to assess customer willingness to pay and translate that into pricing decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment (“startup mentality”).
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
Preferred
- Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience with long-term agreements (LTAs), MSPs, or aftermarket business models.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and pricing tools.
- Experience with dynamic pricing models, predictive modeling, or advanced pricing analytics.
- Experience pricing across multiple customer channels — commercial, OEM, and government aerospace customers.
