Transformation Manager, Middle Office

This role is responsible for designing standardized workflows, ownership boundaries, and control frameworks governing the full transaction lifecycle as the organization advances its middle-office and platform transformation.

This position requires deep expertise in trade processing, confirmation, and settlement, with a focus on workflow design, testing, and integration of current industry best practices into the target operating model.

• Design and govern the end-to-end global transaction operating model, from trade capture through confirmation and settlement.
• Define standardized workflows, ownership boundaries, and handoffs across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
• Establish transaction-level control design principles, including exception management, fail monitoring, and escalation frameworks.
• Ensure consistent treatment of trade lifecycle events such as allocations, amendments, confirmations, settlements, resets, novations, and FX.
• Lead transaction-focused work streams within platform modernization initiatives, ensuring systems reflect target-state design.
• Define transaction requirements for testing, parallel runs, and migration certification to support production readiness.
• Act as a senior advisor to Trade Management leadership, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.

• 15 years of experience in global trade management, transaction processing, or settlement operations within asset management, investment banking, or prime brokerage environments.
• Extensive experience across multiple asset classes, including derivatives (OTC and listed), fixed income, and cash products.
• Strong understanding of how transaction lifecycle events impact accounting, positions, P&L, performance, and risk.
• Demonstrated experience in defining or governing global operating models and control frameworks.
• Proven ability to partner with Technology teams on workflow design, testing, and platform transformations.
• Strong communication skills and comfort operating in complex, global, matrixed environments.

The organization follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees, which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. The base salary is the fixed component of compensation determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
