Relationship Manager

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you are the lead, and the main point of contact for DBS Bank to clients, prospects, and other external stakeholders.

• Contribution to meeting the US WMNC Franchise hard and soft dollar revenue targets; ROE targets, and asset and liabilities growth targets as set by management;
• Raise DBS Brand awareness through on-going business development activities;
• Support Asia Connectivity through effective cross-sell efforts and collaboration with Industry, Country and Product Partners;
• Full understanding and adherence to the Bank’s Core Credit Policy and Target Market and Risk Assessment Criteria (“TMRAC”);
• Responsible for oversight of credit quality of assigned loan portfolio; management of all relevant risk, compliance and control items required for position.

• Achieve individual hard and soft dollar revenue targets, asset and liability growth and ROE targets as assigned by management;
• Obtain New to Bank (“NTB”) clients for DBS Bank through active business development program;
• Develop and execute strategies within assigned WMNC Industry Verticals;
• Originator of all transactions that require a credit memorandum, work with assigned Portfolio Manager to ensure initial loan screening and greenlight memos are prepared promptly; appropriate CDD/KYC is performed; credit memos are prepared to the standard of DBS Bank and once credit approval is obtained, ensure proper loan documentation is prepared;
• Responsible for developing an Individual Development Program to promote personal growth and learning.

• As an SRM , you are the main point of contact between DBS Bank and our clients and prospects and expected to execute your role with the highest personal and professional integrity and in the best interests of DBS Bank;
• Develop a comprehensive account plan for each client;
• Acquire wallet share of our US WMNC clients through effective cross-selling of DBS products and services in Asia;
• Develop internal relationships within DBS Bank to maximize effectiveness;
• Occasional travel to Asia will be required.

• Jointly manage and monitor credit quality of portfolio with assigned PM;
• Adherence to all Bank policies and timely submission of all required reporting requirements;
• Adherence to all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, bond referral program, AML/CFT/Sanctions Procedures, Customer Suitability, Fair Dealing, Information Security, FATCA, OFAC, KYC as well as DBS Bank’s internal Code of Conduct;
• Prompt completion of all call reports for each client visit;
• Completion of all required DBS internal compliance training;
• Maintain acceptable end to end processes with team and other DBS US departments.

• BA/BS in Business/Accounting or related field;
• MBA;
• CFA or other professional designations preferred but not required;

• Should have 10+ years related work experience;
