Join Our Team as a Tax Associate (Remote)

We are seeking motivated Tax Associates to deliver exceptional customer service, validate tax returns, and support clients throughout their tax journey. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely within the U.S., collaborate with a skilled team, and develop your skills across multiple proficiency levels. Your impactful contributions will help ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidence for our valued customers.

• Valid PTIN for the 2027 tax filing year
• Proven experience with at least two seasons of paid tax preparation, handling a minimum of 30 returns per season
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, Form 1040, and associated schedules
• Ability to review, validate, and sign tax returns prepared by others
• Excellent written communication skills for producing clear, actionable handoffs
• Proficiency with online research and virtual communication tools
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to explain complex tax concepts simply
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.

• Experience with complex tax scenarios such as rental income, cryptocurrency, employee stock purchases, or partnerships
• Familiarity with tax software and government resources
• Prior advisory or customer relationship management experience

• College degree in business, finance, accounting, or taxation is preferred
