micro1 is engaging Personal Finance Experts (Canada) to contribute to a project focused on enhancing household financial workflows and advisory processes. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scopeof Work
- Complete authentic personal finance workflow tasks using securely linked Canadian bank accounts, ensuring all personal information is redacted for downstream use.
- Apply professional judgment on topics like RRSPs, TFSAs, FHSAs, mortgages, savings plans, and CRA personal tax filing, providing clear written explanations.
- Critically review and evaluate AI-generated financial guidance against established rubrics, delivering concise, constructive feedback to improve model quality.
- Verify and interpret financial documentation, illustrating how Canadian consumers and advisors manage registered accounts, tax deadlines, and household financial decisions.
- Support the creation and refinement of evaluation rubrics and grading criteria relevant to personal finance guidance and outputs.
- Remain current with updates to Canadian tax, registered account, and savings regulations as they pertain to project deliverables.
- Professional designations such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) in addition to Canadian credentials.
- Active standing in Canadian credentials (CFP, QAFP, CIM, PFP, CPA).
- Experience in rubric-based evaluation, model output review, or AI system training projects.
- Demonstrated ability to draft assessment guidelines, rubrics, or scoring criteria for complex financial topics.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to explain technical financial concepts to a variety of audiences.
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in banking, wealth management, financial advising, accounting, or tax planning specific to Canadian households.
- Comfort with securely connecting personal Canadian bank accounts via Plaid (with all PII redacted before use).
