Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory
Responsible for independently utilizing respiratory care therapy to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality respiratory care services through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff and other departments. Responsible for responding to all code blue/emergency situations in the hospital and acts as Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner in the absence of the Lead.
Complies with the State of California standards for Respiratory Care Practitioners.

- Current California RCP license
- 2-4 Years in NICU Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC
- Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) sponsored by the American Heart Association
- LA City fire card within 6 months of employment
