Purpose Statement /

Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant performs a variety of patient care and clerical activities to assist physicians, nursing and clerical personnel. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care. This position is to support the Infusion Center’s Hem Onc Lab. Responsibilities include all lab patient registration processing and assist with patient care and triage.

1+ year experience in pediatrics preferred (Care Partner, Medical Assistant or CNA). Hem Onc experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program required. California Medical Assistant certification preferred. American Heart Association BLS required.

Varied 8hr shifts, Monday–Saturday.

$43,680.00–$61,953.00. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
