Occupational Safety Specialist

Overview

R&D Partners is seeking to hire an Occupational Safety Specialist I in Los Angeles, CA
.

• Regulatory Compliance & Program Management
• Monitors compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and all federal and state regulations.
• Maintains the site’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database.
• Supports Hazard Communication programs and ensure chemical inventories remain current.
• Assists in developing Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• More than 2 year(s) of relevant experience required.
• Experience in the biotech or chemical industry preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and competencies may be considered.
• General knowledge regulatory requirements
