Position OverviewWe are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate loves talking with people and brings a positive, can-do attitude to work every day. While prior surgery scheduling experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule surgical procedures for ENT and facial plastic surgery patients
- Coordinate with physicians, surgery centers, hospitals, and anesthesia providers
- Communicate pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed
- Collect and document required patient information accurately
- Maintain surgery calendars and ensure all documentation is complete
- Provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone
- Maintain doctor credentialing with surgery centers
- Assist front desk with scheduling, answering phones when needed
- Previous surgery scheduling experience preferred (ENT or plastics a plus)
- Background in cosmetics or aesthetic services is a plus, but not required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, upbeat personality with a passion for patient care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required
- Someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with patients
- A team player who contributes to a positive office culture

- Comfortable discussing procedures, fees and answering patient questions
